The pioneering environmental building has installed cutting edge technology to generate its own power and heat with the capacity to produce more than it consumes – making it the first conference building in Europe to reach beyond ‘zero carbon’ and become carbon negative in energy use. Tea Room & Museum Open
We are delighted to announce The Pines Garden Tea Room and Museum are now open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am till 4pm. The Tea Room is serving a delicious array of cakes, snacks and light lunches all made with a combination of our own & locally sourced produce (as much as possible). Why not also come & sample one of our delicious Sunday lunches, although we advise you book in advance due to demand! You can call Michelle, Tea Room Manager, on 01304 853173 to reserve a table.
After your snack, step through and view the new WW2 exhibition charting the interesting history of St Margaret’s Bay during World War 2. Why not try on a wartime costume and experience life under a Morrison shelter!
Open Days 2013
Planning your wedding? Then come to our wedding open day on the 17th March 2013. Experience the unique architecture of this stunning green wedding venue and meet Kevin Francis, General Manager of the Pines Calyx Wedding Venue and Lisa Smith our own in house Wedding Co-ordinator. They will be joined by some of Kent’s finest wedding professionals who will be exhibiting on the day. Entry is free and open to all, come and start the day with a glass of Bucks Fizz for every visitor. We look forward to meeting you.
